About
My name is Sara Plourde. “Rude Parasol” is an anagram.
I live in a big suburb of a small city in NH, and during the day (and some of the nights) I work as the Digital Producer & Designer at New Hampshire Public Radio. Which means I make images for the radio. I sometimes also make radio for the radio - I once produced a biweekly podcast called the 10-Minute Writer's Workshop, featuring a bunch of super-talented literary heavyweights spilling their process secrets.
"During all of my free time" (which is a tired joke tired people make) I do freelance graphic design & illustration, mainly working with small arts non-profits, and I make things out of metal.
I have a fine arts degree in photography & printmaking, which occasionally even gets some use. Take that, statistics.
You can find me on the Instagram and the Twitter @rudeparasol.
